Gotta Love Texas Women
Nominated for quote of the year is the statement made by Texas
Republican Congressman Dick Armey, who was asked: "If you had
been in President Clinton's place, would you have resigned?"
He responded: "If I were in the President's place, I would not
have gotten a chance to resign. I would be laying in a pool of my own
blood, hearing Mrs. Armey standing over me saying, 'How do I reload this damn thing?' "

Good one, vettehauler. I teach the Texas Concealed Handgun Course and have had many women come through the course. I have found that the women will consistantly score better than the men on the shooting part of the course which is 50 rounds fired over a prescribed course of fire with .32 cal or larger handguns. They listen better, too.

Just as much as you Tx men love your Tx women, we love our Tx men too. I don't think there's many butts in Tx that don't look good in a pair of tight fittin' wranglers and there's plenty of wranglers runnin' around! I would most definantly have to agree with the first statement except for one thing, the Tx woman probably already knows how to reload that gun....

Texas Women....
Look at me talking about Tx women knowing how to shoot. I can't even shoot a gun. I won't touch the things and I run from them if someone gets one out. I curl up in a corner involuntarily. I saw a girl shot thru the throat at 6 yrs old and haven't been able to deal with guns outside of a gun rack or on the wall well above my head since. My dad and my ex fiancee (barely) are the only two I don't run and hide from when they have a gun. But I do have a coupla knifes so, I suppose, in that situation, I could find something to do...
