Thanksgiving, Turkey and general B.S. Thread

OK here is the November BS thread.

What do you have planned for Thanksgiving?

Where are you going to travel to, or where are the family coming from?

What are you eating for Thanksgiving? Recipes?

And just all the other Ford truck BS stuff, let it fly.

OK I guess I will start... (well Kevin beat me to it, LOL)
I am not traveling for Thanksgiving this year for the first timee. Instead all of my family is coming here. This will be our first Thanksgiving in this house.

I have family traveling from N.C., S.C. and the great state of Tennessee.

We will do it on Saturday since the rest of the family has other in-law families also.

I am going to try my hand at the turkey. Last/first one I cooked I used a cooking bag and it turned out good and moist. Any suggestions?

I'll be in Seymour, spending Thanksgiving with mom and dad, not sure how long I'm going to stay. I don't have a good internet connection there, so I'm cut off, dad won't get charter, his computer is too old to use it anyway, I use my laptop to steal a wireless signal when it's warm out, have to sit outside to do it.

Looks like we are going to get that rain from IDA after all. At first it was 10% - 20 %. Now we get 60% today and 70% tomorrow.

Time to work on those indoor projects.

Rained @ the house this morning. Just enough to wet the ground. Found out I have to chaperone a Sweet 16 party along with the wife and the parents of the daughter who is holding it this weekend. This should be entertaining.....

Mark...where abouts in Seymour will you be? I used to live off Boyds Creek road in Van Haven subdivision.

Off of Burnett Station Rd, I go Boyds Creek when I head out to Smokey Mountain Knife Works or Bass Pro.

Morning Tn. I'm getting another Ford truck today. Its a 03 Ranger excab. It has 101k miles on it but it has a brand new motor in it. Its very clean & should make me a good cheap to drive work truck.

Neal, I sure could've used your advice last night. I had to do a brake job on an OBS. Pulling the hubs just to replace rotors, what a joke.

Once you do it once it is a breeze.

BTW WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS SITE???????????

I have been trying to log on. Some times it opens and most other times it doesn't, and when it does it opens slowly.
Sometimes I open the site and click on where I want to go then it drops me. I got so frustrated yesterday I just gave up. I went home and same thing there. Back to work at another location and SAME THING!
Man this is frustrating. I can't do anything on here without being dropped.

I've had the same thing happen the past couple of days. So far it seems to be working today. You don't realize just how addicted you are to the site until crap like that happens.

Yeah I hate it when that happens.

I just had to give up on it till this morning. Go surf other sites for awhile and just realize why FTE is so great.
