[updated:LAST EDITED ON 11-Nov-02 AT 09:30 AM (EST)]In my continued quest to return the old look to my '67 Ford F100 Custom Cab, I dumped the "mags" (with oil filter center caps!) that came on it it, and went back to steel wheels and hubcaps.

See what you think...

Out with the new...

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 11-Nov-02 AT 04:55 PM (EST)]Actually, I like the hub caps better. I've always liked the look of the older Ford caps. I've got a few of them hanging in my garage along with the original hub caps from my '66 Mustang.

Yours look to be in great shape. Looks real sharp!

I like it with the new stuff. Looks really good. I've got a coupla Ford hub caps on my 85 and I've got one that doesn't match anything I've got that covers a water faucet outside by the electric meter by where I park when I go home so I don't run it over in the dark. Shines real pretty at me when I pull up and I know where the faucet is. Always good for something right?

Thanx!

I gotta remember that one! I seem to have a problem knockin over a bird bath my ex-girlfriend spent $200 on, then left it with me when we broke up.

I'm not sure if it's on purpose or on accident though :P

Well I don't imagine that with that pedestrian guard on your truck, that you're hurting your truck so go for it!

You know what makes a good birdbath? A stock tank that's got wire fencing over it and cinder blocks beside it... That's what the birds round here use... Get a used one and it's cheaper and has multipurposes.

I'm gonna go,... read,... or something. Maybe I can learn not to be such a hick....:-X23

The guy down the road from me has a stock tank by the road. Every time I go to town that thing has a ton of birds around it. You'd almost think it's the only water source for miles.

I've though about diging a tank, but 5 acres is too small for a decent sized tank with out the mosquitos eatin me alive!

I would definantly have to agree with that. Our stocktank and horse pen was right by the house lot in our trailer park and then the 5 acres was on the other side of that. They had to come back to the pen to drink from the pasture becuz when we penned them up to plant or whatever they had to have water and dad didn't want to move a stock tank all the time. That and it was half in the horse pen and half in the backyard so the dog could drink out of it to. Mom used to have to stand me up in the bathtub and pour alcohol down my legs to get all the mosquito bites. That's how many I had and let me tell you I screamed but I never would stay inside...

I like your new/old hubcaps and wish I had some like them. I didn't like the ones that were on mine so I took them off.
