Looks like it's coming from the hose where it attaches to the water pump? I'm not certain. If you follow the hose that runs from the driver's bottom up into the engine I can see it's wet near those weird looking swivel clamps.

Just noticed a small puddle on the ground yesterday, but have noticed the coolant has slooooowly been going down, but I just thought it was evaporation. I guess I know where it went now.

Has there been any problems with hoses or clamps or water leaks? I've already had the radiator replaced. It's an early 07 production date truck...

 

Not that I am aware of, will have to look up there real good, but is it the kind of clamp you could tighen at all?

 

That's what's strange. Those clamps look like some kind of swivel locking style. And it almost looks like it's too loose up there. I could wiggle the hose on one part of it, but the other part appears tight.

It was going to the dealer tomorrow for it, but with Hurricane Ida headed this way that'll have to wait till Tuesday or Wednesday. wonder if this is covered under warranty? Truck has 67K on it now.

 

Hoses and or clamps only covered 3 yr/ 36,000 mile bumper to bumper. If the t-stat housing O ring or upper hose is seeping it can also appear to be the lower hose. Just had that happen after flush. If upper hose has spring type clamp and that is where it is leaking, then replace it with a worm type clamp.

 

It's leaking from up top somewhere. I couldn't see it real good last night, but I could tell it's not the lower hose by looking from underneath.

Looks like a real pain to get to the thermostat housing too. Might have to get a quote from the dealer for this one.

 

On the 6.0 the T-stat housing is easy. Pull air filter and you have access. Remove 2 nuts, then press. sw. bracket, 2 more nuts and the housing comes off. You do have to remove the upper hose 1st.

 

Is the 6.0 the same as the 6.4? I'll look at it some more when I get home.
