Van top speed higher than pick up?
My Super Duty E350 V10s top speed limiter is 105.

The super duty pickups have a top speed limiter of 95.

Anybody know why the van is set faster?

They figure we van owners are more responsible, or think it won't go that fast to need it, wrong on both counts.

Just a guess. Are the OEM tires on E350 rated higher?

No, commercial tires aren't speed rated, 10 ply tires give heavy feedback, I want a steering stabilizer.

"No, commercial tires aren't" federally required to have Speed Ratings cast into the sidewall codes. Suggest you read a wikipedia's basics on Speed Rating commercial tires & try to delete the Speed Ratings codes for commercial tires seen there:

Unfortunately there are only 2 basic sizes for the E load, a 245/75 and 225/80, I hate the tall skinny ones myself so I run the 245's on mine.
