air idle controle pluged in makes truck high idle at 3000 rpms an ideas what makes that happen ?

idle air control is screwed?

what happens when the IAC is not plugged in?

check for vacuum leaks, that early efi plenums sometimes pop a gasket.easy fix if it is.

i was told it was the injectors because the motor is out of a 90 and my truck is a 86 they might be diffrent ohms what u think ?

Go to the top of your home FTE page (has the pic's of 3 type of F1X0 generation trucks).

Below it are some pull down menus.

Home is the left most, Forums is right next to it.

Click on the forums and you'll see the list.

Scroll down to the bronco's forum.


There's a ton of forums on this site.
