While I have no real knowledge on air seeders this sounds like a good deal.

About 10 years ago dad paid 7000 for a Bourgault 32 foot culivator same model as this, this is a 42 foot cultivator with a tank for 3000.

LaredoF350 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE. LaredoF350 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Those Bourgault air seeders work well, we had four of them over the years. That fixed hitch 5 row series will clear trash quite well, but if you have hills its something to watch for as the deep frame depth doesnt contour that well.
We had a solid hitch 4 row, then the rest were 5 row floating hitch units.
What engine is running the fan on there???

Good to hear, our land is quite flat. The fan is driven off of a little diesel pup motor. You can kinda see it on the back of the taknk in the first pic.

That happened to me a few weeks ago. Went to an auction looking at a Wheel Loader and came home with a service truck, and a chev no less.

If this is an upgrade, what is the old seeder?

How well does the top to bottom air distribution system work? Seems the opposite of anything on the market today, including Bourgault.

Are those 28L26 tires on the cart?

Thanks. Lol ya I know not quite up to par yet but our old unit was a 28foot Bourgault cultivator with a PTO driven Prasco Bandit.
We also got a set of Bourgault 2200 hoe drills.
