See, that's what I like to hear! I have no idea as far as where to have it or anything else. So feel free to chime in with ideas and once we have a good idea of where and when we can start getting people signed up and see who's interested...

I'm game as well. I also vote to have it this winter. As far as location goes; anywhere between the triangle and the coast would work for me.

Brown Falcon, I was down your way this weekend. We have family in Pamlico County. There's some good wheeling down there. We visit often. Let me know if you want to hit some powerlines. Or if you know of some good places, we could tear that up too. I'll be down Thanksgiving and Christmas for sure. Might be fishing some of that time but would certainly be up for some mud slinging. Or we could do both and sling mud on the way to the fishing hole.

Sounds like a good time to me! Don't think mine would be too good in the mud though... only 2wd and I havn't gotten my locker for the rear yet. That's next on my list!
Fishing is always good though!

Where's a good central location for this? I'm not from here so I don't really know what city would be good... And what should we do? A dyno day would probably be expensive to set up, likewise with a track day... I just need some ford guys to talk to!!! And show off trucks!

So far (in this thread) I've seen the two furthest points being Taylorsville and New Bern. A mid point could be Sanford or Raleigh.

We could coordinate the meeting with some event. (truck pulll, mud bog, race, etc..) Or we could meet up at a place where we could cook out and just talk trucks. I'm fine with either. I would hate to have to spend too much on an event though. I vote for a simple gathering with some food and truck talk.

We could meet at Harris Lake or Jordan Lake and Reserve a spot to cookout with a shelter.

Make some suggestions. So far were only talking about less then twenty folks that would even make it. (just going by the response from this thread)

We need a date, time and place. November and December are pretty packed for most so I suggest early next year. I don't mind the cold so January/February is fine with me. But I'll work around what the group decides.
