82 F150 transfer case support question

Hey guys, as some of you may know, I've been working on putting an np 435 in place of the srod transmission that was blown. I got it in, but now I have to put the transfer case in. I bought the truck with the entire drivetrain already out of it, so seeing as how I dont know how it all came apart, my question is, does the transfer case only get supported by the 6 bolts and the alignment pin on the transmission, or is there something else that helps support it as well (like a skid plate which wasn't included with the turck)?

I'm gonna bolt it in for now and just put a jack stand under it to support it in the mean time. If you guys could let me know, that would be great!

The 6 bolts and alignment pin are it. If there is a skid plate it won't be attached to the transfer case only to the frame rails.

Thanks for the info, I'll be taking that jack stand out from under it now! That doesn't seem like enough to hold all that up! I think I am going to try and find a skid plate for this truck since its going to be out in the woods mostly. Did they come with any other skid plates besides the one for the transfercase, maybe one for the gas tank or front suspension?
