Unhappy New to the fam, premium factory radio prob

Hey, I'm new to the Excursion family. We got a used '04 eddie bauer, premium factory radio w/dvd, that also came with an aftermarket Sirius satellite radio. Tried to install a hard wire ipod connector and fried the factory radio. It will power on, but won't turn on and the satellite radio now does nothing. Are we going to have to start all over and get a new radio? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would suggest undoing what you did and see if you have the same issue. Start from there.
