LOOKING FOR INFO. building a 4x4

I have just bought a 99 f-150 2wd, The price was unpassable and the truck is rust free, but I wanted a 4x4. I have just located a 4x4 that was rolled but the chassis is wrecked, can I convert my chassis using the components fron thge 4x4? I know this was very easy to do in earlier series ( I done a couple, only plug and play) but I am unsure of this series.

Thanks,
Baybiker

It would be tough but it think it could be done as long as ya have plenty of time, a good warm shop with a lift, and plenty of money

The 4wd stuff wont bolt up to the 2wd frame. I my opinion it is way too much work to swap the 4wd IFS stuff over, a solid axle swap would work better and easier.
