Some one decided to steal a new(purchesed this spring) John Deere 9630T, which is John Deere's largest tractor on tracks(530hp), from the Hutterite colony just east of Regina and take it for a joy ride. They drove it 15 miles through a barn(flattened it like a pancake)and into a deep slough where they left it. The water was so deep that there was a foot or two of water in the cab. I have some pic's that I will try and post later. What a mess!!!
Damage like that to another person's property is senseless, and the sad part, the people doing it could never make restitution because of the huge dollars involved.
Any suggestions as to the solution to these kind of acts? I am looking to hear something constructive, because most of my ideas dont fall into that category!!!

Im kinda leaning towards the vigilante justice. IF the person gets caught I second the garnishing of the wages. Lets hope they arent on support from the government, or that just means our taxes went up.
I will admit when I was young we raised a little hell, but we never, and would have never thought about doing something to wreck someones property, specially expensive green property.

I'm with you there Prep. Did some things when young too. Some damage was done, but that serious in our horseplay. A lot of times we ended up fixing our own equip. (cars with things we did. Meaning we damaged our own cars or property. It was fun, but cost us. Now if we damaged someone elses we usually tried to rectify the problem. we did not runaway as cowards. We took responsiblity. Well most of the time.
Never did anything like they did to the tractor.
