Came across this '56 today, thought it was interesting to not only see one being uses (telephone pole installer?) but to see one like this, lol

well thats one way to empty the bed. lol. auctually we used to empty pickup box trailers like that all the time.

I've never actually saw a Pickup Installation before - I've always wondered how they did it.

Can't belive they flipped it bckwards? How did that happen? I've got pretty much the same rig(except it's a '60) and it's a little dicy out to the side but theres no way it would flip the truck backwards like that.

Maybe he was driving with the boom up and caught it on those power lines??

Colin, I'm surprised your truck doesn't have outriggers??

Thanks for the chuckle Eman. Reminds me when I was a lot lot younger and driving my Dad's 58 F350 dually with 292. I let out the clutch hard one too many times. I brought it home and it kind of sounded like a mostly empty redimix truck with a load of rocks and the drum turning... wasn't pretty and he wasn't to happy with me.
