What Carb Kit?

Hi, I've read a few entries and you guys really seem to know your stuff so I hope you can help me figure out what kit to order to rebuild my carburetor.

The truck is a 1967 F350 with inline 6 - not sure of the hp - but the block number is C6AE-6015-D 7E29. I don't think this is the original engine and a previous owner installed a very heavy duty 4 speed transmission. This is really a great old work truck equipped with a steel deck dump bed with a 10000 lb scissor hoist. I've hauled some unbelievable loads and it doesn't even seem to work hard.

The carb is leaking from the fuel pump so I need to replace the gaskets. Having a hard time knowing what kit to get. It has a single barrel carb with tag - 4 F, under that is an "I" and below that is C5TZ.P. Elsewhere on the body of the carb it says FoMoCo and TG (or C) and below that a 2 and below that in a circle 1.29. On the inside surface of the flange that bolts to the manifold is stamped an R and on the edge of the flange near one of the bolt holes is an O.

Thanks for your help.

C5TZ-9510-P .. 1V Carburetor (Motorcraft CA357)

Fits: 1965/67 F100/350 240/300 I-6.

C8OZ9A586D .. 1V Carburetor Kit (Motorcraft CT207A) / C8OZ9A586D replaced C5AZ9A586B (Motorcraft CT189) / Obsolete

Fits: 1965/70 F100/350 240/300 I-6 // 1965/70 Galaxie/LTD 240 I-6 / 1965/70 Econoline 240/300 I-6 / And other passenger cars w/200 I-6's.

Try a good autoparts store like NAPA for this kit. Most autoparts stores can cross Motorcraft part numbers over to the brands they sell.

7E29: Since the engine block in your truck was cast May (E) 29, 1967 (7), it's prolly the original engine.

Ford offered two different 4 speeds for your truck: New Process 435 & Warner T-18. So...one or the other could be original to your truck.
