This is something that I have been putting off for a while due to Marty's wishes. As most of you know Marty has been away for some time now. He has been very sick and unfortunatly his time is now probably limited to a week at best. He has been too uncomfortable to spend any time on the computer. We have emailed back and forth and he has made his peace with god. At this point he is now too weak to talk. Please keep Marty, his family and friends in your prayers.

I'm not sure what to say, I never met Marty but would still consider him a friend. This is defenitly hittin on a personal level for me..

I have met Marty and talked with him on the phone many times. He is a very important member of the chapter.

Man this hits me hard. Marty and his wife are part of my family. I have talked with him and his wife on the phone. They are so wonderful. My thoughts and prayers are always with them.

Marty and I have never had the pleasure of meeting, but we've had many a conversation here on FTE, and he was a regular visitor to the Nebraska Chapter. It's so hard to come up with the words for this. Marty, you'll be in our prayers brother. We've missed you here, and we'll continue to miss you. But, know well, that'll meet again, my friend. This has really hit home that life is too short, and we should all appreciate those around us. God Bless Marty.

All that I can say is Oh Crap !!!! I am stunned and speachless. I knew that Marty was having some health issues but I did not know that it is this serious.
I have only met him on here and to me he is like a brother. We are the same age and this hits me really hard and it reminds us how fragile life can be.

Marty- you and your family are in my thoughts and one of these days, we will meet.
