Door Ajar light on 2004 Explorer

My door ajar light stays on almost constantly lately. But it went off just before we brought it in to get fixed! Interestingly, it coincided with the rear passenger window not working. When the door ajar light went off the rear window became operable again. Funny stuff. It is now at the dealer for that issue and because the service engine light came on so I am having both issues looked at. But the door ajar light is not on while its at the dealer. Any suggestions???

well as far as the rear window not working? I'm not sure but the door light is probably the switch in the door its self.My explorer used to do it all the time also my 2003 power stroke its where the latch grabs just lube it with some wd40 and all gone
