Hey everybody, just saw this thread...thanks for keeping my dad in line. I really wish I was down there right now, but like he said, I'm in a little bit of bind myself. I will say, Timothy is completely reliable with this stuff--to be honest, he has helped dad a whole lot more than I have since I came down to Auburn. It's a really weird feeling because he or dad will tell me about something they are doing on his truck, and I am just completely out of the loop-not something I am used to. Oh well, I am confident that Timothy will make sure dad doesn't do anything that he can do instead. Again, I just want to thank you all for your support of my dad lately. I know I don't post on here very often, but I lurk on here all the time. You guys (along with a bunch of others I am sure I am not aware of) have formed a really unique brotherhood that I am proud to be involved in.

And yes, if anything happens involving Brandon sitting on my dad, I am definitely in for pics.

Nice to hear from you Benjamin.

Hope the Mono has not hit you too hard. I had it once as a young man. My throat was so sore and it was so hard to swallow I was willing to starve to death. They call it the "kissing disease" you know. What've you been up to at Auburn???? J/K

Hope the body shop repairs the Jetta so well that not even you can tell where the little "bump" was.

Take Care.

This is Benjamin's second round with mono, and we're hoping it won't be as severe as repeat events typically are for adults. All of our children went through the ringer with it about 5 years back.

And don't believe anyone who says you can only get it once. Once you get it, you carry a residual form of it for life, and there are actually a number of versions of mono. When someone gets diagnosed as having Chronic Fatique Syndrome, it is almost always a result of the mono residual kicking in with on-off spurts in some variant format.

Jeez Pete,

I hope I don't get this crud again. At 62 I don't think I will do to well.

LOL...I have been working so hard lately I don't have the time to be up to anything else. Seriously though, it's not nearly as bad as it was before. I am exhausted, but definitely still functional. I will just have to be careful for several weeks, and skip work for a while. I don't plan on skipping any classes or anything unless absolutely necessary.

Thanks for the well wishes on the Jetta too...I can't wait to finally have it back!
