1957 Flushside,,,,

Good looking truck, to bad it is a "flushside" http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/1453270842.html

I wish I had about a million dollars and a climate controlled storage facility for all the old iron up on the chopping block

I like the styleside in the 57-60's. To me it looks better than the Flareside or Stepside.

styleside or fenders

I guess its just a matter of personal taste, meaning one guy likes chocolate and another vanilla, but I vote in on the stylesides everyday. I just like the looks better. I don't know about comparing functionality etc.

But I was surprised to see that "different grille". What year grille is that?
Certainly there were no "grille" options were there. That must be a later model grill that someone's put in there? You guys see that?

The 57 is my favorite of the 57-60's. I've got a 58 and I'm not complaining, very happy and all, but I never really new those trucks until I bought one. I didn't ever payem much attention. But once I did I came to appreciate the 57 with its single headlights and the nice design more simple grill--and this truck doesn't have that grill!

57Ford Grill

Well now that I said that, I looked around on the internet and I must be nuts--but I hate to admit it. I thought I saw a totally different grill in a 57. I wonder if I'm thinking of a modded 57? Is there a Canadian 57100, Mercury or?

I guess I'm dreamin/ too much but I'd swear I'd seen a different grill/too much coffee.
