clark 282 transmission

i am looking into a 5 speed tranny for my f250 4x4 with a 390.i read dinosaurfan has a 285 clark .what is the difference between the 282 and the 285?
do i need anything else other than the tranny and bellhousing?what about starter, clutch ,flywheel and clutch lever?

I would ask this in clutches and drive trains forum. But just off the top of my head the 285 is an OD transmission and the 282 that you could order from the factory in F series trucks was close ratio where 5th was 1:1 just like 4th was in the 4spds. People want the 282 bellhousings and such to put 285s in to get the OD.
