ignition wiring...one big mess

So i bought an '85 F150 with a 351 windsor. It does not run, but for $600 it is worth the trouble. there is no computer or ignition brain box. I am trying to figure out a way to get this thing to work. I have 2 different distributors I can use, one with the screw in rotor and the other with the push on rotor and vacuum advance. does anyone know of a good way to get this thing to spark off? I currently have the vacuum advance dist in. it has 3 wires coming out of it.

You need the DuraSpark II ignition control module to work with that distributor
(where those 3 wires go).
