Man i love my ford

You just gotta love them fords....Just changed all the fluids changed and hooked my battery charger up. Got in the truck and sure enough she fired up on the first try.....but then shortly after it died...after a lil investigation it seems that i got a little bit of water in my gas tank so ill drain it tom. and put some good gas back in it......so on that note whats the best way to drain a gas tank?

i think i might get a sticker for my back window thats says:

"You Can Bash Em, Thrash Em, And Crash Em, But You Just Can't Kill Em"

Or is that cheesy...lol

Good job on bringing it back to life. Did you have to get new computer?

nah the computer was fine it has a few burnt circuits that u can see in the pics from my last thread but i dont think there for the motor, i think there for the E4OD that was in it, cause the plug in's all gunked up under the truck and full of crap so it might have short curcuited it causeing those few curcuits to burn up, but im not a computer guy by no means....all i know is it fired right up and all i really care bout right now

as for all other electrical goes, everythings working just like it did before the water incident

if i get the tank drained, good gas in it, and fired back up tom ill post a video of that big black burly b a s t a r d running like the beast she is

i think im happier now than i was when i first got it running again....thought i lost her for a minute.....and its never touching water again...NEVER....o and to those who know the story ive come to the conclusion that i really shouldnt drink anymore....specialy in my truck.....it just leads to trouble, money, stress, regrets, lives at risk, and worn out shoes

The easiest way I can think of to drain the tank would be to disconnect the fuel line that goes into the fuel filter and direct it to a bucket. Then cycle the key. Or if you can find it, I believe there's a way to jump something in the ecu service port to make the pump run continuously.

There is one on the service port that you can jump to make the fuel pump run continuously.

That shows which one does the fuel pump. I believe you hook up the test thing to it( that single one you use for the cel check). Otherwise you could disconnect the harness where it comes out of the tank. You should be able to see 3 wires on the other side of it, yellow for the fuel level and the other two for power to the pump.
