Dont have them in front of me at the moment, otherwise I would. If it is frustrating you to help out with answers to questions, just dont reply.
I don't have a problem. Many here have taken the time to help me. Just take the two containers and look at the specs on the back. And if you should ever find that I have given erroneous advice, please feel free to point it out. Not only will that help someone else but will also help me. I will not be offended by it.
Ford says to use VC-9 iron cleaner in the 6.0. It takes 2 quarts. If you use something else that is your decision. I have found no alternate source or substitution for it.

If you can check with International Dealer near you. Just have to remember as everything gets more advanced the way we will have to take care of them will also have to change whether it is a diesel or a gasser or hybrid. What may work on a 66 F250 may not work on a 6.0L. JMO.
I don't mean to hi-jack this post but I've notice that my coolant has gone from a bright yellow in color to a brown color within the last 3K miles or so. This color change was rather sudden which is what concerns me the most. Up to this point I have been following Fords maintenance schedule closely and was considering doing the recommended 100K coolant change soon. But.....would anyone have an idea as whether this sudden color change could be an indication of head gasket failiure or just old tired coolant? I'm the original owner of the truck and it is an '05 F350 4X4 6.0L PS with babied 99,500 miles. As you can see because of the miles why I'm concerned about any potential head gasket failure. Is there a way to isolate head gasket failure vs old coolant, any type of lab test that can be done on the coolant? Other then this the engine runs great and there doesn't appear to be anything unusual with the engine oil (color ok and no loss between changes).
Your question kind of got lost in the bickering, so I will backtrack and comment. I just changed my coolant at 65k miles. As you can see, it was pretty brown. Truck is running perfect as far as I know. So does that look similar to yours? I don't think it is anything to be worried about, but it is time to change it.
I can't get the thermostat housing or the top rad hose off. a fuel line prevents socket from getting on it. I can't get a pliers on the clamp to remove it, complicated by the banks inter-cooler tube.
Ford is inconvenient and expensive, I have this Zerex stuff, better than nothing?
I say use it... you already bought and obviously have made up your mind.
Personally, I would not use it!!!
These trucks are "finicky" and cooling system problems are common.... so if you can't afford to use the proper coolant and or cleaner... maybe you should not have bought a 6.0L PSD truck (just making a statement - not trying to be mean or pick a fight).
Personally, I use only Ford Premium Gold coolant from my local dealer and pay $11.99/gallon. You need 4 gallons (only use 3-1/2). If I can't afford $50.00 in coolant and another $20.00 or so for 17 gallons of distilled water.... then I don't need to be driving a 6.0L Excursion.
By the way, I flush my coolant every 50,000 miles and never worry about checking the nitrate level and this is 1/2 the Ford service interval (which has allowed me to have zero problems).
The choice is yours... and it sounds like you have made it... so good luck.
p.s - If you can afford the Bank's Big Hoss set-up (in your signature) why are you worried about a few extra bucks to do your cooling system properly?
I have the Zerex GO5 coolant. But the dealer nearest me did not have the VC-9, the parts guy said they don't use it, they have a machine. Whatever that means.
I am just looking for opinions on the Zerex cleaner I could get.
