6 disc radio issue

Anyone know if they have issues? I picked up one off of ebay and installed it this morning. Well, it came right back out and was sent back today. I plugged it in, the radio played fine but when I hit the cd load button it said disc error. If I hit the disc load button it said slots full but won't eject anything. I am supposed to be getting another one and was curious.

The word on the street is that the 6-disks are prone to failure on a fairly regular basis.
