Plow Pump

Hey guys this is gona be my first year plowin . I hope this is in the right section! I have a westren 8.5 plow. Can I use a myher pump on my unit. I have a 88 250 5.0. If so whats the diffrence between the E47 and 60 ?

I am not sure what they difference is without looking it up on their site, but it will probably be capacity or one of them not having the angle feature.

There is no reason why you could not use the meyer unit, if you can fit it on there.

One thing I found out when I first started plowing; Turn the idle up a little bit when plowing. I had a 80 f150 with the stock alternator and with the stock idle setting it didn't want to lift the plow very well. You read all about people upgrading the battery and the alternator for plowing, but setting the idle up fixed it right up.
