When I change to front tank truck stalls

The truck was driving fine, I had it on the front tank and stopped at a store and shut it off. When I came out it started sputtered and died. Tried to start it again and the same thing happened. Switched it to the rear tank and it started, tried to go back to front tank and it stalled again. When I got home I took the gas cap off and tried to start it to see if the cap was screwed but same thing again. Any idea's would be apprecated.

with the truck off put your switch on the front tank, have some one put the key in the on position while you listen by the tank. you can hear the pump turn on. if it is not turning on it could be the pump. if it does turn on and it is just not changing to the front tank then i can be your selector valve. also check and make sure you are getting power to the front pump. hope his helps

My guess is bad fuel pump but could be the selector switch on the dash also.
You do not have a selector valve in a 95.
