Doing the upper ball joints...(is this a good brand?)

so i am replacing both my uppers this weekend and im getting the hole control arms from auto zone, their duralast brand. $43 for drivers $39 for passenger, price is good for me but is that a good brand and good quality? Does anyone have any other brand name suggestions and price difference? thanks all...oh yea 97 ford f150 4x4 4.6

steve(ill) is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
i bought the upper arms and balls at Auto Zone a year ago, but i thought they were about $75 each? I bough the $20 lowers and they crapped out in 30k miles. I bought a durolast for $40, and it crapped out in 30k miles. Looks like the same ball with a different warrenty. I just bought MOOG on e-bay for $40 each and installed the lowers. The uppers are the durolast and have about 50k now and so far so good.

Go to Advance or O'reilly and buy Moog. Reasonable price and no worries
about quality.

MOOG is the way to go. only had to replace one of their parts twice (the idler arm) because the pittman arm was bad and wore out the idler arm at an accelerated rate.

+1 on MOOG...the ONLY way to go...unless of course you really WANT to do it again later.....

bigdaddyII has a good reputation on FTE. bigdaddyII has a good reputation on FTE.
+2 on MOOG chasis parts. The only part to replace ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar links, idler, and pittman arms with.
