recived a recal notice in the mail

the recall is for a sped control deactivation switch, has anyone taken there's in yet?

Yeah, but I wouldn't have bothered except I just moved across the border and to register the truck here it has to be clear of all recalls. It took the stealership probably 15 minutes to do it and an hour to call me and tell me it was done. They didn't even try to tell me I needed $10,000 of other repairs just because they are the stealership. Must be losing their touch.

I was told that they are basically just putting a fuse online on the power wire and that's it. If the fuse blows then they will actually fix the problem. I haven't gotten mine done so I don't know for sure but if it's just that then I'll do it myself cuz I don't want some hacked in butt connector causing even more issues.
