I looked through my 1979 Ford truck engine shop manual, and I cannot believe this, but it is not in there! Anyway, I got curious myself, and looked up the direct replacement part from Comp Cams. The part # is 7837-16 and the specs are 5/16" x9.500".

I actually have a set of a comp cams 9.500" 5/16 pushrods. I bought them thinking i would do a stock rebuild, and ended up doing something different. The part number i have is 7656-16 though. these are "magnum" pushrods though, solid one piece deals.

You can have them if you want them though, let me know.

The part # I came up with was for the High Energy pushrods from Comp Cams website.
