firemanpat29 is starting off with a positive reputation.
problem or not?

I am not looking for trouble, hope this is nothing, what do you think? 2007 PSD 65,000 miles. runs great no problems. on the passenger side just above valve cover is a diaphram, looks to me to be the one for heat/defrost ? it shows signs of puking. degas bottle is same level it always has been, right at the min line. the fuild is not visibly leaking, nothing is wet. The actuator on top, and the diaphram are crusty white, just like all the pictures I have seen of puking caps. my only other issue is I thought it was taking too long to crank when cold but when actually timing it it starts within 5 seconds. Thanks!

That is probably the heater control valve and it should not be leaking. Easy to replace don't know the price for the part however.
