twisted loose!

Hi all,

I'm on a hunt for motor mounts (which I've found), transmission mounts (think I've found), and tranfer case mounts (can't find at all).

Basically the 428 in my 67 Merc f-250 has twisted loose. I could kinda tell since the gear shift knob moves to the right about 2" under throttle...

My mechanic tells me I need motor mounts and transfer case mounts. I've found the motor mounts several places on the web (won't mention addresses, can't remember who's a sponsor and who's not).

I absolutely cannot find transfer case mounts. Any thoughts? I would prefer a one-stop-shop for all three sets of mounts.

Specs: 67 Mercury f-250. 428 (transplanted from a 66), np435, dana 24.

Thanks!

darrell

On my 66 F100 4x4, it started twisting like you say yours is, the motor mounts were loose. I was ready to change everything, but fond just loose nuts on the mounts. I run a 390 HIPRO in the truck, like the 428, they will twist more than what came in these trucks.

Thanks bertha66.

I haven't crawled under to check, I'm only working on what the mechanic told me. I'll check...
