My dad's been storing this thing in my uncle's basement for probably 16 years and he finally decided to bring it home. When we went to pick it up I thought it was going to be some cute, old little piece of equipment - THIS THING'S A BEAST!
If I have the story right, my dad bought it from the Ford dealership that originally sold my grandfather a brand new Mustang in '65, which we still own today (another good thread topic ).
It has two duplicate wiring harnesses and about five full paper pads the dealer used during maintenance and repairs.
Crazy that today this piece of equipment and much more is condensed into a dinky little 10lb diagnostic module. As Brad Paisley sings, "Welcome to the future!"
Check out the pics! Let me know if you want to see pics of the dealership pads - my camera died while they were uploading onto my computer.
