Flooring?

when i got my truck the carpet was all gnarly and stuff so i removed it and since have been driving around with a bare metal floor. my main question is, what should i use for flooring?
i am considering getting a quart or two of that roll on bed liner stuff, and doing a bed liner on the floor.

i also found some super thin carpet at shucks for like 13 a roll and would just glue it to the floor.

and the cheapest molded carpet ive been able to find is like $125

im on a really strict budget of about $70, and wanted some opinions about what to do also if ive overlooked anything please let me know!

maybe a couple quarts of herculiner. I've used it on a few floorpans with excellent results. but you have to scuff the surface, remove rust, and degrease, and mask off before you roll it on. wal mart should have it.

so i do have to remove all of the rust? because the passangers side has a bit on it, and i just put some rustoleum on it.

I'm going with a similar project. I'm going to replace my floor pans totally 1st then go with the Herculiner. From what i read the Hurculiner is the best. Yes you will have to remove the rust. The prep is the most important step. Poor prep and the herculiner won't stay. Not sure of the total cost.

I would go with the Herculiner. I used it in an old Montero of mine. You can always buy molded carpet later and place it over the liner.
