this is branden i live in greenville, ca and have an 87' f250HD 6.9. its got a rebuit motor, banks turbo, dual silverline 5" stacks its 4 on the floor with granny low lock. i got another diesel i use for snowplowin but its a chevy so whatever, lol. right now though im having some wiring issues but i plan on building this truck up really nice. i have been meaning to get some pics up so ill do that tomorrrow.
by the way that pic is after i flipped it on its side, had a buddy come through with a winch to turn it over and i drove off, lol. thats alot to say about classic fords right there.
Chevies make good snowplows... I am not sure about trucks, but as a snow plow they are good.
As for your truck, I am not shocked you just turned back upright and drove it away. I did a head on with telephone pole at 30 mph in mine back in 1985. I just backed up, checked the radiator and then drove it home with no problems, except my dad's reaction. I think that did more damage.
Once again, welcome to the group. Now I have to figure out where your town is that it gets snow.

I drive through Quincy every once in a while on my way to Reno. You are definitely in the snow. LOL
Karl - what model chevy do you recommend as the best plow? I am thinking Corvette since it has a nice slope to direct the snow. LOL

yea the chevy is the same year as my truck its a 6.2 idi. it does the job the front end is really solid so it holds our big ass plow, lol. my ford is almost put back together, hopefully tomorrow. many problems though, like the ignition actuator! it takes two hours to get to that cheap part!! lol anyways
