Yes we have In-N-outs here, and I cant survive without them. The double double is probably one of the best burgers out here. Fries are awesome and simple.
You will have to get out here so we can have a burger together.
The OP has four of these in his area, second street,2 on blackstone, and one on shaw.
I make it a habit to know where all of them are. Never know when hunger srtikes!

Areoshade:

That is a nice truck. Here are a few questions:

Gear vendors over drive, does it have any crossmeber or additional support? Any problems with all of the weight hanging past the transfer case?
Has that case been modifed or at least upgraded to a part time unit? Appears to be a NP 203 full time case.
What happens when the truck is in 4wd I guess is the real question. IS it possible to run in 4wd with the overdrive engaged? That would drop output rpm to one diveshaft leaving the front to run at a different rpm.
Has this been a problem, or is there some safety provision?

There doesn't seem to be any prob. with the OD hangout there, I never realy thought about it but GV said there is no need for a mount.

The Transfer case has a high 2wd high 4wd and a low 4wd, I was told it was a NP204 chain driven gear box.. not to sure thought.

And yes you want to turn the GV off when it 4wd, the prevoise owner ran it on while in 4wd and had to rebuild the transfer case . There might be a way to have the GV turn off since I have the "Locked" light under my dash. I might beable to wire so when that light comes of it turns the GV off. But for now I just make sure the GV is off. I will post some pics of the inside when I get a chance.

A good friend of mine used to live in Modesto, where he hooked me on those things. Being big eaters, I had to out do his triple patty triple cheese animal style with a quad patty quad cheese animal style. oh, and don't forget about the fries...... You tried animal style? Good stuff. makin' me hungry. workin' through lunch doesn't help either. Gotta get my hours up so I can buy pickup parts.....

I am jealous of the Cummins swap. I would love to do that to my '71, prolly do a 4BT instead though. Increased economy, still decent power. Turbo diesels are awesome. Cummins makes the legendary old Fords even better. Power w economy....
