spencer31336 is starting off with a positive reputation.
F350 7.3 diesel tranny problems..help!

just put a newly rebuilt tranny into my truck..drives and shifts fine except for maybe going into 3rd gear. it seems to have a really positive shift. almost too positive as to the point where it shifts like a buck. but you can really notice the difference in power. what could be the problem? keep in mind its a brand new transmission..could it be getting used to the oversized torque converter also put in causing it to react differently until its used to the shift power?
