Lazy K is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE. Lazy K is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I watched an interview the other day given by the vice president of GM where he said that, when the Volt goes on sale, every buyer will get a $7500 Federal tax rebate and that GM "may" initially have to sell the Volt at a loss. This could amount to a taxpayer subsidy of around $500ml for the Volt.
Opel are only losing about $1ml a week so why not keep it?

I heard somewhere that it is cheaper for GM to keep Opel than it would be to get rid of it.

Sounds like marriage, doesn't it?
