November Truck Work

I run synthetic in my 03. I don't know if it makes much of a difference other than making an oil change run around $150.00. Does give me piece of mind though.
Got brake lights working finally on the bruise today. That thing had cruise installed on it and one of those old brake controllers with the handle on it. It had an actual brake line going into it. They are now gone.

i have been using synthetic oil in my motorhome (360 dodge- sorry)for 6 years.i had a little overheating and loss of oil pressure going through the salmo-creston hwy on a hot day. my son(the mechanic) suggested i switched to synthetic.the temp guage hardly moves off the 180 mark and the oil pressure stays consistently high on the hotest days on the longest hills. i sure recommend it for heavy duty use. i use dino oil in my carsand will probably use the same in the 351c im building to put in my 54 f100.

You need to upgrade your sig, Chris, to include your full truck harem.
Installed the f250 rear leaf springs in the truck on tuesday so the suspension upgrade is mostly done. I have new shocks for the front but couldn't get the d*mn top nuts to turn so gave up. Have to get a better pair of vise grips or a reciprocating saw. Thinking about a set of Timbrens to finish off the back but not until after Xmas.

deep socket long extension if you have top access and wiggle back and forth till the shock breaks ( does not take long)
