Wheels/Tires 2006 F250 4 Door

I have a 2004 F150 SC FX4 and I'm considering doing a little plowing. My brother in law is willing to sell me his 2006 F250 for a decent price so I'm considering it. His truck has 17 factory wheels. I have two sets of 18 tires and wheels that I want to use with this truck. I doubt it but is there a spacer that bolts up and converts to 6 lug? If not, can you buy cheap 18" steel wheels at the dealer in 8 lug? What about decent looking summer wheels?
Also, my tires are 33" and I'm wondering if these are big enough to add a couple inches front and rear with a leveling kit and still look good?

Thanks!

The F250 basically comes with 33's stock (265/70/17). you can go taller without any modification to a point. I run 315/70/17s with no problems at all (other than a little decrease in fuel mileage). As far as getting 18" rims in an 8 lug, yes, they are available. but just wondering why you would want to go to 18's for the 250? Im assuming it's because you want to mount the tires you already have on them....if not, consider keeping the 17s....especially if you're going to have multiple sets of tires.....there are a lot more choices of tires in 17s than there are in 18s (although 18s are getting more prolific).

Good Luck either way, I have enjoyed the 06 SD CC i have...

Yes, I have two sets of 33" tires for 18" wheels. His 250 only comes with the stock 17's so I'd have to get winter steel wheels anyway. It's just as well to get 18's to mount the tires that I have already.

265/70/17 is a 31.6 inch tire. It might not seem like much but a 33 inch tire looks much better.

I have 31.50s on stock 17s, my dad's basically identical truck has 33s on stock 20s. Even my mom agreed his truck looked better and that mine were basically go-cart tires under a 3/4 ton truck.

Guess who has 35s now

Good luck finding cheap 18" wheels. I've never even seen 18" steel wheels with an 8 on 170mm pattern, but they probably exist somewhere.
