Fullcrew7.3 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Not too sure, I'm just getting set up to put in a '99 SD IC. I'm sure someone who's already done it will chime in soon.

Will the 99-00 IC fit around the 97 radiator or will it have to mounted in front so that the pipes on the end tanks clear the radiator. Just curious and it sounds like Fullcrew 7.3 has a IC in his hands. Other than that little hang up is the piping around the turbo and intake.

The IC inlet/outlet on mine barely cleared the radiator. I had to notch the radiator and shroud flanges along with the core support on mine. I have the early style radiator though so yours is likely a bit different. It all fits good, you just need to do some careful measurement, layout, and trimming.

Read this: http://assets.bankspower.com/manuals...ord-v4-web.pdf .
I am going to use it as a guide to install a 6.0L intercooler in mine.

Did you buy the banks intercooler yet?. I ask this because with a lot less money you can install an IC in your truck.

Wink

Buy an IC from a SD 7.3 or 6.0, about $100 to 200, buy an early 99 Y-PIPE, it goes about from $50 to 100; the clamp for the TURBO about 10-20; buy some sort of exhaust pipe and fab your pipes, finish buying some boots and clamps and install yourself.

You can always look on e-bay for the stuff or in the clasifieds.

Most people here had completed the IC for about $400. Do you know how much costs the Banks IC? aroud $1,400.
