All I can say is thanks. I searched for 8 months for a truck with some very specific requirements. All of you on this site answered all my questions without even having to ask. I finally found my truck last month and thought I would post up some pics. I found her in Nashville. She is a 1 owner that had 28,000 miles when I had her shipped home. Don't think this truck has ever towed or carried anything. She came to me with gray leather, moonroof, power rear slider, 20" wheels, center console, 5spd auto, 4.10 limited slip, tow command system and shift on the fly. I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I get behind the wheel. Thanks again for all the information.
Won't lie. That makes me kinda horny. I'd personally want to swap out the V10 badges with the earlier 2ver ones from 1999-04. That exhaust pipe looks kinda small too..
Post up some interior pics, I haven't seen a whole lot of the 05+ interiors.

Ya know what Pinky, I thought the same thing about the tail pipe. I just had it in for warranty work on the exhaust. The thing would ping and ting for 5 minutes after I would shut it off. Ford replaced everything back to the muffler. Rather impressive that they did that. Thumbs up (again) to Ford service. Not familiar with the earlier V10 badges, I'll have to check them out. I will get some interior pics up.
ajohns....black vehicles are beautiful (when clean).
My last rig was an Expedition Limited Black/Black interior. Looked awesome!, for about 30 minutes after being washed.
I got "pueblo gold" this time. I still think black looks best, but yeah, it's hard to keep nice.
Congrats on the new truck that thing is really sharp with all the fixins! I think the reason the tail pipe looks small is it appears to be at a different angle, more towards the rear vs. the side.

Nice looking truck! But about the exhaust... All exhaust pings after shutting down. It's the metal contracting as it cools. Never owned a truck that didn't do that including my current one.
Sweet looking truck. I'd shorten the tailpipe and put on a nice 4" x 18" stainless tip.
Exhaust tinging is normal. The stock exhaust builds tons of heat and makes the steel expand a lot. My 04' has none of the factory exhaust or heat shields and doesn't make a sound.
