I feel a tingle too, every time I'm pulling hard in 3rd. Although, I will admit, it's not in my exhaust pipe, it's in my pants.

Thank you everybody for the comments. I really, really love this truck. So far I have only done a couple cosmetic mods. I did the Weather Tech floorliners, window deflectors and "no drill" mud flaps. I also put on a 14" antenna. Having problems with the mud flaps. Apparently they don't work so well with 20" wheels. Not enough clearence up front, going to have to trim them up.

Since Ford replaced the exhaust I have no had zero pinging after shutdown. It was pinging so loud (after shutdown and while running) that I couldn't have a conversation next to the truck while it was running. They have since cured the issue and no more noise.

I have plans on installing a Ford factory Nav unit (have one in my Expy and love it), air filter cut the tail pipe back and install a chrome tip. I also have to replace the front windows because the glass is scratched really bad from mud and grit. With no mud flaps on the front, all the grit went up into the door jambs and somehow made it inside the door. With new windows I am going to tint the fronts to match the backs.

Thanks again for the comments.

Make sure you replace the rubber strips/window felts when you replace the glass. That way you wont get scratches again for a long time.

Since you still have warranty left, this may help http://www.ford-trucks.com/tsb/fullt...php?tsb=06-5-8

JKBrad,

Thank you very much for this info. I am going into the dealership on Monday and I will bring this up. Don't know if it will apply to my 2007 but I will surely try. Thanks again.

Thank you very much for the link. Brought the truck into Ford today and they are ordering new glass and moldings under warranty. Another big thumbs up for Ford service and a thumbs up to JKBrad.
