300 Exhaust

Hi Does any one know of a preformance exhaust system for a 300 inline in a ford ranger that will not make the motor sound like a lawn mower

You mean like a full size truck with the "ranger" package? try running no cat and a cheapo turbo muffler or glasspack. What is on the truck right now for an exhaust system???

Cool, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone doing that until now. You can just experiment with cheap mufflers and/or straight pipes and what not until you get something you like. I have heard of setups like GreyF100's with just the cat and then straight pipes being pretty good. Personally I am running a single pipe all the way back with no cats and a crappy stock replacement muffler.

It is a nice combo, I'm thinking about running No cat and a Hearthrobe Muffler
