This one is for Ultramagdan.

I started with this:

http://greywolf.clubfte.com/strobe3h.gif

Edited and scaled it to this (since I think you wanted an Icon, am I right?):

http://greywolf.clubfte.com/strobeicon.gif

It's exactly 48 X 48, and I think the lights are the right colors now (IE: Red to port, green to starboard, white on the vertical stab).
I could be wrong about that, I think in terms of military markings.

Heckuvva nice bird, by the way!

*Drops, and rolls on his side as if gut-shot*

What? I spent twenty minutes helping a friend...

Besides, I admire Dan for having a private pilots ticket.

(not taken too seriously, I have to do something to keep my mind alive)

"Wolf you have exceeded my expectations! That looks sweet! I'll see if I can correctly get it in place.

A million thanks and several cold ones are due you.

I sent an FTE-Mail to ya that will hopefully get you up and running with it.

Main points are - upload it to your FTE account, and make sure you enter the file address in this format:

I'm trying to think of something for Theo...

This is a first attempt, I can do better I'm sure.

http://greywolf.clubfte.com/theoicon1.gif

Possibly by slowing it down and making some minor changes...

2nd try -

http://greywolf.clubfte.com/theoicon2.gif

3rd try ...

http://greywolf.clubfte.com/theoicon3.gif

But then, I could be completely off track.

Anyway;

Image one is a very standard cross on a blue background.

Image two is a "Lion Heart" shield (as in King Richard)

Image three is an image of the sword of a Knight Templar.

Image four - the dove of peace, found on a Christian site.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Jul-02 AT 09:21 AM (EST)]Cool Wolf, I prefer the slower one,(not the almost stopped one) and am not too happy with the weird depiction of the dove.. Other than that - WOW. being totally computer graphic illiterate I am impressed quite easily. Now you done it, what do I do with it. I have NO CLUE how to make the FTE website thing, such is totally beyond my comprehension, so I would need serious help to make it work. (I tried a year ago, and failed dismally.)

I can grab another dove, that's no problemo.

On the conferences page, got to the top bar and you'll see an option/link labelled "user menu". In their you'll find a list on the left with the option "edit profile"

In that is a block for entering the address of your avatar image (which is the icon itself)

I'll try a few other doves, less stylised, and when you pick from them later what needs to happen is you right click the image and "save as" to your documents.

Then go to the ford-trucks main page and login at club fte (just above the message boards link)

Once you log in, there will be (partway down the page) a utility to upload the image to your documents.

At that point I can tell you the exact address to put in your avatar block on your profile.

It will be similar to the example I posted for ultramagdan above...

Here is another thought; and if there is a specific verse you would like done this way or larger (for a signature) I will be happy to do the same for it!

And here is another try on the previous one...

That second one is cool, I like that one... I have a problem with a favorite verse - I like all of them, so I cannot choose any particular one.

Okay, well then if you've loaded it into your memberfiles the address to put in your avatar block is this:

http://greywolf.clubfte.com/theoaddress.gif

The above is an image itself, so it won't just copy and paste. That's the simplest way I can put the address on the board without the picture showing up instead.

If the image file was left off it would be a link to your FTE homepage.

For the time being, go to the lobby, and at the top you will see this circled area -

http://greywolf.clubfte.com/help1.jpg

Click on it and you should find this:

http://greywolf.clubfte.com/help2.jpg

Click on that and you will find this;

http://greywolf.clubfte.com/help3.jpg

Enter the following text into the block that the red arrow points to:

http://greywolf.clubfte.com/help4.jpg

And that should get you started even though the image is in my files, and not your own.

Since I don't plan to disappear anytime soon, that will do for now. But I still need to show you how to import your own stuff, and that will be easy - trust me.

It's a step along the way, and we can go from there.

Blessings spread out like ripples from a rain drop onto a pond, this also gives me a chance to practice my skills in many ways!

~Wolf

PS: I recommend that you explore the other options in these areas.

And if you have questions about them you need only ask...

It is possible that this may work.. If it does, how cool is this.. Thank you so much for the very nice graphics Wolf, if it doesn't work, I will keep trying.

Now that I think my simple brain can cope with this one aspect of webbing... ,,, I may look to find pictures of my truck, to put as a tiny signature.. Like I used to have before webshots went nasty.
