They tend to get pretty rusty. Have you tried penetrating oil? What motor is this on?

If its what I'm thinking, the nut is made to the egr valve and the male thread is on the pipe. If you have a cutoff wheel or anglegrider (or even a dremel) grind through the nut until you just get to the threads and it will come right off

I got the one off my 5.8 apart removing the whole works from the motor and clamping the valve in a big vise and heating the nut on the tube. It took a lot of work and some penetrating oil and repeated heatings but it finally came apart, damn thing was rusted on there good.

just an fyi, to replace that part at ford is like $85 bucks and that was about 4-5yrs ago. i wouldnt go cutting on it if you can help it. Heat will probably be your best friend and get some liquid wrench, it works better then wd40 for sure.

Alright I heated it up. I got it off ,and the new one went on good! But I have no vacume from the hose that goes to the Egr. It seems like its running alot better.

Sorry, I thought the nut was made to the egr alve, glad you got it. It shouldnt have vacuum to the valve unless you are driving and the proper conditions are met

There should be no vacuum at the valve at idle, but once the engine is warmed up you should be able to see the valve move if you rev the motor. If this doesn't happen then the EVR solenoid or vacuum line is suspect.
