Negative, it is located on the exhaust side of the turbo basically behind the y-pipe, I'll go take a pic

That is the AIT (air intake temp) sensor in the spider. The EBPV solenoid is at the bottom of the turbo pedestal.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for all the help. I'm usually pretty good with most of this stuff. Can you look at my schematic and make sure I've got it right? And would a diode be necessary in there?

Looks like your right on track to what you want, I personally don't see the need for the diode, unless you go with a really cheap switch, that might fail and feed voltage back to ECM, odds are in your favor though, against failure. Sounds like a good idea too based on your location. Most lower 48 just disconnect it but I see your reasoning!
