Aftermarket fuel pumps
99.9 % of the time I stick with Ford OEM parts but my fuel pressure in my 92 is 25 at rail KOEO and its time for a fuel pump. Ford wants 450... no freakin way...
Summit sells Carter brand replacement pumps for 170... Anyone use these and have good luck?
Any brands I should stay away from? Thanks

Rockauto has a good selection. I'm going with Performance 47 dollar replacement pump.

what $450 no way. i bought a pump 3yrs ago complete for $120 from ford here in Bend,OR. when you buy the ford pumps it comes with everything. when you buy aftermarket you dont always get all that. U should look up on line Robberson Ford, Bend, OR and see what there parts department quotes you. if its cheaper for the same setup i would go back to the ford dealer you went to PISSED. where are you located that just doesnt make sense
