'98 Explorer Upper Radiator Hose Collapses

'98 Explorer Upper Radiator Hose Collapses

What causes the upper radiator hose to collapse when the engine cools? Seems like it's the radiator cap, but could it be a plugged line leading to the antifreeze reservoir? The hose comes back into shape when I remove the radiator cap or the engine warms up. No problem with temperature control...
