Added another Ranger to the stables today

So I bought another Ranger today. Its a '92 4.0L 4x4 extended cab, almost identical to my current DD Ranger. Couple small differences though. First, its blue and has a full topper. Second, its a sliding rear window. Third, its manual 4x4, not electeric.

Finally, it has 140,000 fewer kms!!! Only showing 87,000km on the clock!!

Now for the not so good news....it has transmission issues. For some reason, it will only move in 4th gear. Could be something as simple as a broken roll pin on the shift rail or, or could need replacement. Either way, for $900, and that low of kms, it's a win win no matter what for me.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. It was only $650 to rebuild the tranny in my truck.

Congrats on your new to you Ranger, hopefully it`s a simple and inexpensive fix. Keep us posted.

Took some pictures this afternoon

I'll remove the stickers in the side window and back of the topper eventually, and have a Lund Moonvisor to put on, but need to paint it first.

Probably about as good as I feel when I see another wrecked focus at sgi salvage!
