The dealership did treat me very well. They were very patient with me and they knew I was serious about buying a truck. Seeing 2009's are just about gone, they had to find one on the dealer locator. They found the truck that I baught in Plymouth, MA. A two hour drive away. They baught the truck from that dealer before I had committed just so I could buy the truck. I was no way on the hook for the truck. They even left it in the back of the dealership waiting on me. I committed to buy the truck and they came to my office to do all the paperwork. It is a small family run dealership with all generations of ownership on site. They really treated me well.
The truck did not have any cab steps and they installed OEM Ford steps on and told me that qualified for a $500 upfit incentive so the $400 steps netted me $100 savings. Also the plow qualified for another $1000 in incentives. Add that to the $5000 that Ford offered plus a few other unadvertised incentives and That gets to $7500.
The dealerships is Sarat Ford in Agawam, MA
If you are a Mustang freak they have a "Toy Store" off all kinds of limited edition Mustangs from GT 500's, to Shelby KR 500, to Saleen's, and over interesting edition of some guys name that I cant remember. They used to have some saleen F-150's too.
Cool stuff.

Congrats on the truck, should be a real workhorse. Sterling Grey is a real nice color.

I bought my 04' from a small family owned/operated dealer also. I prefer buying from a smaller dealer. They don't sell new Fords anymore, they went to selling used vehicles only. I figure they were not selling enough volume to keep Ford happy. Its too bad because you often get the best service and less pressure at small dealerships.
One thing about Sarat Ford is they are a family run dealership and are the largest Ford dealer in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. Just great people. I had the sales rep visit me at my work to drop off some more info before I receive the truck. It is scheduled back from the plow install on Wednesday. They still need to install the cab steps. Thursday or Friday is when it is all mine.

The truck has been at the plow dealer for 12 days. I am pissed big time. I have "owned" this truck for 12 days and I have yet to drive it. The plow dealership is busy but this is getting rediculous.
I will post pics when I finally get it home.

After the long wait I finally have the truck home. Here are a few pics I took.
I am very impressed with the gains that Ford has made since I baught my 2003. All the things I don't like about my 2003 has been changed. The turning radius, ride quality, tight steering, quiet steel is the truth, sound quiet interior just to name a few.
A few things that I have to get used to are 5 speed tranny and very tight shifting from forward to reverse. I am going to have to watch that when I start plowing. Gone is that second or two of slop. My u-joints will take a beating if I get forgetful when plowing.
I put about 300 miles on it and I am very impressed. It makes me wonder why I kept my 2003. Next spring my 2003 might me on the move for a crew cab.
