56 Lincoln engine I.D. help

Ok, so I have a lincoln down the road from me for sale and I don't have the information to help me figure which engine it has.

The Lincoln is a 1956 Supreme 4-door. Which digit am I looking at for the engine code?

What engines were there available for this model?

Thanks,
Jim

I'm guessing it was the 368, a Y-block that I think was exclusively Lincoln. FWIW, I couldn't find anything about a Lincoln Supreme, but the top of the line was a Premier.

Yeah, it could have been a Premier too, I didn't pay attention too much to the model name. This car is pretty clean, been sitting for 30 years.

Thanks for the help.
